Ghost Debut New Song "Call Me Little Sunshine," Announce Upcoming Album 'Impera'

Long-awaited follow-up to 'Prequelle' due in March

Revolver has teamed with Ghost for an exclusive "red smoke" vinyl variant of their new album, Impera. Order yours now!

Ghost fans, rejoice! Papa Emeritus IV and the Nameless Ghouls have announced their new album, Impera, the long-awaited follow-up to 2018's Prequelle, for a March 11th release via Loma Vista. Even better, they've offered up a taste in the form of the devilishly catchy single "Call Me Little Sunshine" and its surreal, cinematic music video. Watch and listen above.

The big news comes hot on the heels of the Swedish occult-rock stars' first song in two years, September's "Hunter's Moon." Featured in the horror movie Halloween Kills, the single will also appear amongĀ Impera's 12 tracks, which tackle "themes of isolation and demigod worship, as well as colonization of both space and mind." Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge previously described the upcoming LP as a concept album about the fall of empires.

Impera is available for pre-order now in an array of collectible formats. These include an exclusive "red smoke" vinyl variant, limited to just 1,000 worldwide and up on Revolver's shop. The rare colorway will go fast so order yours now before they're gone! In addition, you can also pick up Impera on CD at our store.
