BTS V's 'Christmas Tree' Enters Top 15 of MelOn Top 100

BTS V's "Christmas Tree" reached a new achievement on MelOn Top 100 by at 14th place on January 19.

Because of this, V became the 3rd Kpop idol and first male idol in 2022 to have a solo single enter the Top 15 on MelOn, following IU and Taeyeon of Girls' Generation.

Moreover, "Christmas Tree" is receiving lots of love from music fans. It gained a new milestone in ranking and unique listeners every day and jumping up to 10 places on MelOn's weekly chart at No. 21.

In addition, V entered the MelOn Artist Chart, ranking No. 6 on Male Artist Chart and No. 14 in the All-Artist Chart. 

Meanwhile, on Spotify Korea, "Christmas Tree" peaked at No. 3 while spending 22 days on top of the Shazam chart.

Aside from his title "OST King," V is also labeled as a "Music Powerhouse'' by proving his success as a soloist, topping charts with an unpromoted solo song without having an official solo debut.

BTS V Enters Billboard Japan's Hot 100 Chart with 'Christmas Tree'

The main theme song "Christmas Tree" of SBS drama "Our Beloved Summer," by BTS V entered Billboard Japan's "Hot 100" chart.

On January 20, Billboard Japan released its "Hot 100" chart. According to this chart, BTS V's "Christmas Tree," which was officially released in Japan on January 13, ranked in 29th spot.

This is the highest debut record for being the highest-ranking among K-pop male solo artists.he highest debut for a Korean OST in Billboard Japan chart history, and joins #Jin's #Yours as the only Korean OSTs ever to debut on the chart 

Furthermore, the song is listed on various charts on Billboard Japan. It recorded 18,993 downloads on Billboard Japan's "Download Songs" weekly chart in just three days after its release, ranking fourth on the chart.

It also ranked #2 on Billboard Japan's "Twitter 100" and #5 on the "Buzz Song" chart. Aside from that, it was also ranked 39th on the "Artist 100" chart.

BTS V's Achievements with 'Christmas Tree'

In addition, at the same time as the Japanese release, it recorded 11,771 downloads, the highest record for a K-pop solo artist, and it took first place on the Oricon "Daily Digital Single" ranking chart. It topped the chart for 89 hours on iTunes Japan, the longest time in K-pop history.

BTS V's "Butter" created a sensation by sweeping the charts of major Japanese music platforms including Oricon, iTunes, and Billboard Japan. 

It also topped both Amazon Japan's "Best Selling Songs'' and "Hot New Release" categories and ranked first on the Oricon Music Store Daily Chart. On the music sites "Mora" and "mu-mo" Download Daily Charts, "Christmas Tree" was the first K-pop solo to top the charts for two days in a row.
