Boys basketball: Elmwood Park pulls away in 2nd half for win home over Rutherford

Facing a one-point deficit at halftime, Elmwood Park outscored Rutherford by a count of 29-17, battling back to secure a victory at home over Rutherford, 55-42.

Elmwood Park moves to 7-2 with the victory, extending its winning streak to five straight since losing its first game after the holiday break at the hands of Hawthorne.

Tarik Bicic made three 3-pointers on the way to 21 points, 12 rebounds and four assists while Ahmet Djurkevic added seven points and eight rebounds for Rutherford, which falls to 9-3 with the loss.
