Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid and Orlando Magic center Mo Bamba had quite the showdown on Wednesday, with both players combining for 82 points in the contest. Unfortunately for Bamba, the Sixers had the last laugh, taking down Orlando 123-110.

Sure enough being the brilliant trash-talker he is, Embiid–who had 50 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in the game–rubbed the win on his Magic counterpart and trolled him on Instagram. He tagged Bamba on a photo of him and said that he “couldn't guard me tonight.”

While Mo Bamba had a career-high 32 points along with four rebounds and three blocks, it's hard not to accept that Joel Embiid outplayed him in their matchup. Of course credit should be given to the Magic youngster, but it just shows how different Embiid is.

The Sixers remain one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now, having won eight of their last 10 games, and they have Embiid to thank for that. Without him, Philly would have certainly struggled amid the absence of Ben Simmons.

Sixers head coach Doc Rivers, unsurprisingly, was really ecstatic when talking about Embiid's historic night and noted how he played so efficiently throughout.

“He was unbelievable from the start… just dominant in every way. Every shot was the right shot,” Rivers said, per team reporter Lauren Rosen.
