Iroquois County man hospitalized with gunshot wound

IROQUOIS COUNTY, Ill. (WRSP) —
A man from Loda is in critical condition from a gunshot wound, and a 22-year-old man from Loda has been arrested in the case.

The shooting happened at a Loda home on Wednesday evening.
Suspect Colton Johnson is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, a Class 1 felony, and is in the Iroquois County Jail awaiting his first court appearance.
The victim, a 19-year-old man, was rushed to the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

The shooting is still under investigation. No motive has been released at this time.
