Tyler Perry’s Sistas Recap: Are Zac and Fatima Legally in the Clear?
Fatima wanted to move on with business as usual on Tyler Perry‘s Sistas this week, but Zac wanted to take the time to talk things over.
Zac said he wasn’t hungry for the dinner Fatima offered him and he would rather talk truthfully about what she did to Hayden. Fatima said she felt touched and turned on by the fact that Zac would’ve taken the rap for her, especially because she “handled Hayden” to keep Zac out of trouble. Awww! These two really are made for each other.
Fatima then sweetly said her guard was down and she was trusting him with her heart, and Zac said he would have her back the way she had his. He also said he still wanted to beat up Hayden for hitting his soulmate in the face, but Fatima said it was all part of the plan. Zac said he didn’t like that part of Fatima’s arrangement because Hayden could’ve badly hurt her. Fatima said she wasn’t worried because her boys wouldn’t have allowed Hayden to go too far.
This prompted Zac to ask just who these dudes are, and Fatima said she wasn’t going to talk about that. Fatima added that she has worked with a lot of dudes who have been in jail and they ride for her unconditionally. Damn. Is Fatima a gangster now? She urged Zac not to be scared of her henchmen, and he said he was actually more afraid of her. Zac even admitted he felt equally fearful and enamored because he has never met a woman like his new boo Fatima.
They kissed and got sexually intimate with seemingly no cares in the world. Still, you can’t help but wonder what will happen when Hayden the pest wakes up from his coma. Will he press charges or try and blackmail Fatima and Zac, aka “Zatima”? Or will he find another way to be a nuisance? Fatima said if he did, Hayden would get beat down on a weekly basis.
Elsewhere in Atlanta, Danni acted confused and disruptive when it came to Preston and his new love interest. Her name was Tonya, and the fact that she’s a veterinarian appealed to the cowboy and had Danni feeling jealous. Preston reminded Danni she was the one who didn’t want to spend time with him, and she said she was figuring things out.
Danni didn’t self-reflect and instead lashed out at Karen after Preston and Tonya left, even though no one made her come to the salon. She left in a bad mood and angrily called El Fuego for a booty call, and he had to check her, too. He told Danni that it didn’t matter who she was mad at, he wasn’t interested in being her verbal punching bag. El Fuego also said he would text her if he felt like coming over.
Danni then went to Sabrina’s place and harassed and teased her about going out on a date with Calvin, but Sabrina begged her to stop. That’s when Danni confessed that she was actually upset about Preston wooing someone else. Karen mentioned that Zac might’ve set up Preston and Tonya, and this only made Danni feel angrier and more betrayed.
Sabrina reminded Danni that she was the one who told Preston she needed space. However, Danni was determined to play the victim and accused Zac of causing drama. This prompted Sabrina to ask Danni if she thought Zac was dating Fatima to make Karen jealous, and Danni said she thinks Zac actually loves Fatima. Danni added that she was actually mad at Karen the most for calling her about Preston because misery loves company. Ain’t that the truth?
Over at Andi’s apartment, Karen turned down the liquor Andi offered, and this made Andi suspicious. She didn’t think Karen was pregnant, though, and assumed Karen was abstaining because she’s dating Aaron the preacher. Karen didn’t correct Andi or come clean. Instead, she admitted that she misses Aaron and changed the subject to Andi and Gary’s on-again, off-again relationship.
The two decided to drive the Rolls-Royce Gary gave her before giving it back to him, and the police profiled the pair and pulled them over… or so it seemed. At first, the cop was yelling and acting crazy, but it was all a ruse. He and three other pretend officers broke out into a song about Gary being sorry and wanting her back. Karen was annoyed, but Andi was tickled. Wow. Only on Tyler Perry’s Sistas.

Not impressed with Gary or Gary’s expensive gifts. He’s got money, so expensive gifts are easy, but what giving himself… That’s priceless, being totally committed to Andi, being consistent and patient and willing to go to counseling for couples and anger management. Those are the priceless gifts in life.
In regard to Fatima,there shouldn’t be any consequences for her, Hayden continued to stalk her and interfer in her life. It’s like a woman saying no, but a man continues his advantages. Not good and not cool!!! There men watching this show, who are real Hayden’s of the world. They need see the end results aren good for them!!!
So on point! This show is too troubling for me. It’s like a series about stereotypes. The Good wife, on the other hand, has black actors who are central to the story, are flawed and beautiful like all humans. It’s representation within a law firm. I feel like I learned a little everytime I watch it. That the people who write the show respect the players and the audience.
No Hayden should be worried about Fatima and her boys. The sista don’t play. Love Fatima’s roll. Shes not gangsta, just keeping it real, don’t take no mess. I love her and Zack together. They compliment each other. Karen needs to leave Zack alone, get with the preacher. And need to put Gary in his place and move on. Dani and the cowboy are good for each other. Sabrina needs help. I love Maurice’s roll well played. Looking forward to more upcoming showes.
Andi needs to say enough is enough to Gary and mean it. Karen may be playing a game with Zach &if she is pregnant she needs to talk to the preacher. But Karen needs to go to a doctor to see if she is pregnant. Hayden is a bully and a stalker he definitely deserves it &he should know when to stop. Danni needs to move on

Exactly. She still doesn’t see him getting his life together. She needs to leave him alone and not interfere with him and Fatima’s relationship.
I think Zac and Fatima are a wonderful couple exciting and spontaneous I think Danni should allow love and stop worrying about past hurts Andi and Gary whoo not sure but hope it works out Sabrina needs to go with her heart

Gary needs to go, that apologize was so lame. I really hope this is the last of Hayden. He is too nuff. Seem like he only have strength for Zac. Let him remain in a como for the rest of his life.

Gary doesn’t need to be anybody, he needs some serious counseling. His behavior is of someone who is mental. He’s worrying about controlling Andi, he’s needs to leaw to control himself first.
I’m rooting for Zac & Fatima. If that goes left, I’m not watching. It irks my nerves that Karen ain’t went to a ACTUAL doctor to confirm a pregnancy. I don’t like how the client told her how she met Preston & she found a way to blame Zac. Danni needs to work on herself because she don’t want Preston but gets jealous. How does that work when she had a whole man leaving her spot. Calvin had every right to be offended & I don’t see how Sabrina couldn’t see that. Tired of the Andi & Gary storyline, it’s annoying.

Mussy Mane, you got that right. The WHOLE SHOW!!! It will be interesting to see what happens to Sista rating once the Zatima spinoff comes into effect since many have said that they only watch the show for Zatima.

Andi should keep it moving and don’t play Gary’s games. I would not trust anything he does. She should tell him to take the car and the rest of that stuff and shove it!! Don’t be blind by the glitter Andi. Remember that tall glass of water!!
Hate how Gary brought her all of those expensive things as an apology as though he could buy Andi back. Just another bad representation of what is believed about women especially black and abused women. As though they can be brought by presenting them with expensive things and everything will be ok. And what’s worse is Andi actually contemplating accepting these gifts even finding it funny by singing the song that Gary had the fake police singing. It’s a terrible look for women and neglectful prospective on Tyler Perry’s part not to consider what type of message this will send. Afterall Andi is a partner and she could probably buy those things for herself, so why should she be impressed??? We the viewers should have been impressed by Andi’s strength for walking away from Gary’s apology. The character Andi is being portrayed by the stereotype of how Tyler Perry sees women. Instead of Andi finding Gary’s jester heartwarming and loving she should have found it very insulting and demeaning. But of course in the mind of Tyler Perry’s stereotypical thinking women,especially black women are wooed by men that spend lavishly on them. As though they are thirsty, money hungry or money equates love. It’s a shame how these women are being portrayed as beautiful black young women who are educated and smart enough to become a lawyer but not showing them smart enough to know when they are being purchased.
That tall glass of water (Robin) is too mysterious. I’m willing to bet that he’s married too and probably to the other woman who was a part of that threesome, because she had no concerns about Robin inviting Andi in as though this was her and Robin’s norm.
Loved the last scene of this episode with Calvin. Side note I think the women of Sistas drink a little to much. Perhaps they would have better luck with their relationships and attracting decent males If the didn’t. Anyone agree?
I do. All they do is drink. They can’t even have a conversation without drinking. That’s how Andi got into that threesome.
I enjoy the Black Love with Zack and Fatima I hope this story line isn’t broke up because of Hayden’s B-/—A$$.Gary is a A$$ hole he lets someone on the phone for andi I to hear he was on his way to see now zRolls Royce gifts and some singing cops he is too much to deal with. Dani needs to stop sleeping around when Preston doesn’t call she had no patience and it looks whorish and he keeps walking in on her not a good Look
The only 2 good segments of last night show was Calvin defending himself. Go Calvin! and Preston telling Dani to go figure what she wants. Andi was sooooo silly. I’m getting tired of her. Zac and Fatima same old theme nothing but sex. Its very boring. This is not love. Disappointed with this season thus far. Waiting for some exciting scenes.
How about TP create a Sistas 2, because these characters are not real Sistas?
Bee they definitely are not real sistas. First if you were to call them sistas because of their friendship well that would be wrong because they are horrible friends to one another. Karen and Andi are a click all their own leaving Danni and Sabrina to depend on each other, while Sabrina plays the middle man for the group carrying messages, constantly asking them questions and persuading them to support one another. They are not friends but acquaintances by commonality. They all have the same shaded past and they all know each other business about that past. They are use to each other and that doesn’t make a friendship. Second, they are not sistas of this generation. Black sistas I know are thinkers, movers and doers. They are strong enough to get over the past without having to repeat it over and over. They seek professional help and advice to heal and grow. But these sistas are stuck in 1959- 1965 somewhere in there where they just can’t seem to.work it out but instead are weak minded, creatures of habit afraid to explore new challenges apart from those they know. These sistas like the familiar while many sistas of today refuse to be mediocre yet the shows sistas don’t mind. What a terrible way to be seen.

Karen is always accusing Zach of doing something wrong, that’s exactly why he’s not with her. Danni should not be jealous, she said she needed space. No one is going to sit around waiting for her.

I use to like Karen until they turned her messy. All she’s talking about is this baby and it might not even be Zac’s. She just tryna hold on by causing confusion between Zac and Fatima. I was done with her when she called Fatima out of her name. That was soooo unnecessary. If a man don’t want you, MOVE ON.
So very true! She says she loves him, but accuses him of things all the time. They all do.. They’re the problem not Zach and Fatima.
Sandra I agree. The fact that Karen would even think that Zac would have something to do with Preston and the girl at the salon is a prime example of why Zac should remain out of Karen’s life. That statement proved that Karen sees Zac as nothing but a trouble maker. Karen doesn’t see him as being capable of changing even though she sees that he has changed. Karen said to Zac that he wasn’t nothing and would never be anything because that how she sees him and what she believes about him in her heart. She only wants Zac back because she is use to him dragging his tail and coming back to her. And of course she doesn’t want Fatima to have him because she has claimed him as hers, despite what he has done to her or how she feels about him. I’m glad she said it because we all know that Zac will find out that she said it and it will just keep him grateful for Fatima.
Andi is stupid, court smart, not street, gary is a narcissist, he wants control, the car and clothes is going to cost her (grief)

Andi is ***** period, she has a D**K problem. Karen castrated Zac, Fatima built him up made him think, to see his potential. She made him feel his worth and loved. Dani is insecure looking for something she’s not willing to give. Sabrina loves Calvin but worries too much about what her other girls think and not what’s going to make her happy.

Zach and Fatima, brilliant! So cute together. Karen would never have his back like Fatima. Can’t believe she’s now accusing Zac of setting up Preston with the moo boot girl. Misery (Karen) really does love company: that’s the only reason she called Danni. Now she wants to bring Andi down about Gary! Drama queen!
I don’t watch tv anymore cause of shows like this. I get telling stories through tv/film. I don’t dig bad tv and bad black tv hurts my feelings. I hear he’s bringing back Madea. Another way to use black women to play jester/a clown and not have to pay one.

I totally agree, Fatima has a lot of issues, I hate the way everyone is dogging Karen for how Zac has treated her and made her fill this way.
Gary is persistent and he’ll think of other act to try and win back Andi. Zac needs to think seriously about Fatima. If he is the father of Karen’s child that may be an additional episode between Karen and Fatima.

Gary’s apology was a bit over the top and Karen the bitter B president did what haters do best “blocked” Andi from feeling good about Gary’s efforts. She knows the real Gary, and so what if she wants to flirt with his pleading heart being good, bad or indifferent. Let Zac and Fatima win pleasssse!! I love this power couple. Hayden needs to take a rest and proceed with caution.
I really don’t like Sabrina for this show, they need to replace her and that whole thing she got going on with Calvin… WEIRD. Love Fatima and Zac, SO REAL. Karen needs to find a relationship or get some counseling to get over Zac. She’s starting to be messy. Andi is soooo confused.
