Soobin Talks About TXT's Recent Success with Marie Claire Korea

Recently on January 18, TXT (also known as Tomorrow X Together) member and leader Soobin shot his cover photos for the February issue of fashion magazine Marie Claire Korea. These photos were also shared online by Marie Claire through their official social media.

Just like most fashion magazines as they feature a celebrity in their issue, Marie Claire sat down with Soobin for an interview, where the idol shares his thoughts and feelings on participating in a magazine shoot on his own without his fellow members for the first time.

Regarding being on a magazine on his own, Soobin said, "I rarely do things without my fellow members, so I became really worried about this [magazine] whole shooting. But everyone here had helped me feel relaxed. And thanks to that, I was able to relax much quicker."

The idol added that while it isn't easy to do things on his own, he is slowly getting used to taking in new things like this, and would just need more experience.

Marie Claire then talked about TXT and the amazing achievements and success they saw in 2021 with their latest releases, such as their albums "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" and "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE" being named by NME and the Rolling Stone as one of the "50 Best Albums of 2021."

In addition, Marie Claire also mentioned their hit single "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)" being named as the "Best K-Pop Song of 2021" by Billboard in the United States.

To this, Soobin shares what he felt when he first found out about it. "When I first found out about it, I just couldn't believe it for a long time. It is still so hard to believe," the "Loser=Lover" singer said.

Soobin added that due to the pandemic, they weren't able to gauge whether or not they were making good progress with their releases. "As we couldn't go on concert tours because of the pandemic, we weren't able to actually see if we were making any good progress. We weren't sure if we were doing well," Soobin said.

He continued, "But seeing those kind of results really mean a lot to us. Because of it, we became confident that we were on the right path. We felt very happy and proud of ourselves."

Capping off the topic, Soobin added that he is excited to go on this journey with TXT, and wonders what kind of story awaits the five-member group. He also hopes that one day in the future, they are able to talk about "consolation" in their songs.
