PORT ANGELES – Clallam County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the armed robbery of Muffy’s Pot Shop on Highway 101 just east of Port Angeles.

Detectives say that on Saturday night at about 11:25pm, 4 or more people dressed in dark clothing, wearing facial and head coverings, entered the store armed with black handguns. They ordered the cashier to the floor.

One employee reported the suspects were in the store for no more than 60 seconds. The suspects stole about $1,500 in cash from the cash register and a yet-to-be-determined amount of marijuana products.

Detectives are analyzing surveillance video from the shop as well as canvasing area businesses for additional video. We’re told they are working closely with PAPD detectives, looking at potential similarities between the robbery at Floyd’s Cannabis in December and this most recent robbery at Muffy’s.
