The 2022 Nissan Rogue price starts at $27,875. That’s for the base model Rogue, which comes standard with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine that makes 201 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque. Edmunds notes that that’s more than the 2021 Nissan Rogue, to the tune of an additional 20 hp and 44 lb-ft of torque. This engine may not be incredibly powerful, but it is fuel efficient. The base model Nissan Rogue gets 33 mpg.

There are other models available, including the 2022 Nissan Rogue SV, which costs $29,565. There’s also an SL for $34,225. In addition, there’s a high-end Nissan Rogue Platinum that comes with all the bells and whistles, and costs $37,655.

In addition, the 2022 Nissan Rogue comes standard with important driver assistance features, like forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and a head-up display. It’s also compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Is the Nissan Rogue a reliable car?

Consumer Reports only gives the 2022 Nissan Rogue a predicted reliability rating of 2/5. That’s based at least partly on the reliability rating of the 2021 Nissan Rogue, which is also a 2/5. While there aren’t any reliability trouble spots noted on the Consumer Reports page for the 2022 Rogue. The 2019 and 2020 Nissan Rogues on the other hand, have a reliability rating of 4/5.

It’s also worth noting that the 2022 Nissan Rogue has a predicted owner satisfaction score of 3/5. The 2021 Nissan Rogue is also a 3/5. The owner satisfaction ratings for the 2014 to 2020 Nissan Rogues are just a 1/5. Consumer Reports predicts that 2022 Rogue owners will be the least satisfied with the value of their SUVs.

Is a Nissan Rogue worth buying?

The 2022 Nissan Rogue might be a good deal if you want a small SUV that offers you plenty of standard driver assistance features at a reasonable price. The Rogue is Nissan’s best-selling vehicle, after all, so it’s got to be doing something right.

Yet the reliability ratings and owner satisfaction scores may give you pause. They’re not great, but they do seem to be improving. If you really like the look (and maybe price) of the 2022 Nissan Rogue, perhaps it will be worth taking a gamble on its reliability.

Ultimately, the 2022 Nissan Rogue is more powerful than its Rogue predecessors, and many of its competitors as well. It does have updated safety features as well as technology, even if that technology can sometimes be sort of clunky. Overall, the Rogue offers a lot for its price, although whether you’ll feel that way in a couple of years remains to be seen.
