Our Beloved Summer continues to collect critical acclaim though it is yet to reach its end.
Studio N’s first original series arrived to become one of the most most-watched series this year. The romantic comedy series tells the story of Choi Woo Shik’s Choi Ung and Kim Da Mi’s Kook Yeon Soo, who broke up in high school and pledged not to meet again. But fate started playing their lives and forced them to see each other again after the documentary they filmed 10 years ago went viral.
While the series is yet to come to an end, its cast members have already collected achievements at the 2021 SBS Drama Awards. Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi won the Director’s Award, while Roh Jeong-eui scored the Best New Actress title.
But aside from the prestigious award-giving body, Good Data Corporation recognized Our Beloved Summer again in its Most Buzzworthy Drama of the Week.

Our Beloved Summer Stays As The Drama That Caused the Most Buzz
Before its episode 16 arrives in the next few weeks, Our Beloved Summer took its chance to top another list.
The Good Data Corporation recently dropped its weekly list of the dramas that generated the most buzz. It collects data from news articles, videos, social media posts, and news articles, among others, and recognizes the dramas that become the talk of the town.
For two consecutive weeks, Our Beloved Summer topped the GDC’s list, outshining other dramas in the country. In addition, its lead stars Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi ranked first and second, respectively, on the list of most buzzworthy drama members.

The other nine dramas on the Most Buzzworthy series include Bulgasal, Young lady and Gentleman, Through the Darkness, The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won, Tracer, Let Me Be Your Knight, Moonshine, Snowdrop, and School 2021.
Meanwhile, the stars who made it on this week’s actors’ list are Lee Joon, Kim Nam Gil, Kim Woo Seok, Lee Se Hee, Lee Jin Wook, Ji Hyun Woo, Gong Seung Yeon, and Kwon Na Ra.
Our Beloved Summer Makes Impressive Ratings
In terms of ratings, the drama does not receive disappointing data as it recently recorded a 4.1 percent score – a slight increase compared to its previous episode.
Nielsen Korea confirmed the data, saying that it remains one of the most-watched series following Show Window: The Queen’s Record and Moonshine. Both dramas have 10.335 percent and 5.6 percent viewership ratings, respectively.
Our Beloved Summer’s latest episode aired on Tuesday.
