It’s not every week that we can share news of three local retail openings or relocations, but today is an exception.
Yesterday, we shared news of the impending opening of Ross Dress for Less in the former Staples location at 852 Lexington-Springmill Road. Today, WMFD reported that two additional retailers will be arriving at two additional Ontario locations.
WMFD shared information from Ontario Mayor Randy Hutchinson that Old Navy will be moving from its current location to the soon to be vacated Bed, Bath & Beyond space, while Shoe Dept. Encore will join Ross Dress for Less in Springfield Square.

Area shoppers have supported the Old Navy location on West Fourth Street for many years. Shoe Dept. Encore is part of Shoe Show Inc.. Nothing was included in the article about any impact on the chain’s current location in Richland Mall.
