Freezing fog overnight, scattered snow showers Thursday evening

Areas of low cloud cover and fog overnight and early Thursday morning. Expect some ice and snow flurries from the fog. A storm system arrives Thursday afternoon, with scattered snow showers into Thursday evening. We'll see a couple of inches possible for the Snake River Plain. The system clears quickly, with cold high pressure moving in for this weekend.

OVERNIGHT: Areas of freezing fog with a low around 15°, light winds around 5MPH.

THURSDAY: Freezing fog for the morning, with snow showers for the afternoon and evening. Highs into the upper 20's for the Snake River Plain. For Thursday night, look for lows into the teens, scattered snow with a possible 1-3" in new snow accumulation.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy with highs into the upper 20's.

THIS WEEKEND: Mostly sunny and cold with highs into the mid 20's, with lows around 5° to 10°.
