76ers not interested in Kings trade package for Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris: report

More trade packages for Ben Simmons appear to keep surfacing, and each one has been met with no interest from the Philadelphia 76ers.

According to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer , the latest offer came from the Sacramento Kings and featured a package of Buddy Hield, Tyrese Haliburton, Harrison Barnes and two first-round picks in exchange for Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris and Matisse Thybulle.

The Sixers were not interested.

Finding any team to take Harris in addition to Simmons is going to be a tough sell for any team, but the Sixers have been steadfast in their position of wanting an All-Star-caliber player in return.

While Hield and Haliburton offer upside, neither has matched the All-Star level that Simmons has established himself as in the league.

On Tuesday, it was reported that the Sixers rejected a package from the Pistons around Jerami Grant, Saddiq Bey, Kelly Olynyk and a first-round pick for Simmons.

Speculation remains that the Sixers could wait until the offseason and trade Simmons to the Nets for James Harden.

The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 10.
