Kodak Black revisits the summit of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart as “Super Gremlin” advances from the runner-up rank to lead the list dated Jan. 22.

With the move, the streaming hit, first released in October, gives the Florida rapper his second leader. He previously topped the list with “ZEZE,” featuring Travis Scott and Offset, which debuted at No. 1 in October 2018 and led for one week. The new champ also is his best showing as the only act on a track, passing his “Tunnel Vision” and its No. 4 peak in 2017.

“Gremlin” removes Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s collaboration, “Industry Baby,” from the No. 1 rank after the latter’s 18-week nonconsecutive reign. It falls to No. 4.

“Gremlin” arrives at No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs in its 10th week on the chart. Streaming powers the track’s chart strength, with 23.9 million U.S. streams in the week ending Jan. 13, according to MRC Data, up 6% from the prior week. The sum prompts a No. 2 standing on R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs and a No. 3 placement on the corresponding all-genre list.

In addition, “Gremlin” also registered 1,200 downloads in the week, enough to rank at No. 16 on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales. On the airplay side, the rapper’s latest hit enjoys its fourth week on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay with a 29-24 ascent. There, it adds 53% in audience to reach 5.8 million in the week ending Jan. 16, according to MRC Data.

Elsewhere, “Gremlin” rises to No. 1 on Hot Rap Songs, where it also follows “ZEZE” for his second chart-topper, and pushes 10-6 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. On the latter, it ties “Tunnel Vision” for his second-best result there; both trail “ZEZE,” a No. 2 success.

“Super Gremlin,” released on Super Gang/Atlantic, appears on the label compilation album, Sniper Gang Presents Syko Bob & Snapkatt: Nightmare Babies. The project, released on Oct. 30, debuted at No. 29 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and, on the latest ranking, repeats at its No. 22 peak thus far.
