Once again, Disney (DIS) - Get Walt Disney Company Report is finding itself embroiled in a political quagmire owing to its support of the LGBTQ community, after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis punished Disney for denouncing his “Don’t Say Gay Bill,” by seeking to revoke Disney World’s designation as a special tax district (which as we pointed out, is ultimately a meaningless gesture).

Marvel fans finally got their first look at She-Hulk on Tuesday, with the latest official glimpses at the Disney+ series being released to the public. The live-action series already has a lot of reasons for fans to be excited, from Emmy-winning actress Tatiana Maslany being cast in the titular role, to the hilarious and genre-bending implications that the show could have for the larger Marvel universe. To get fans hyped for She-Hulk, Marvel Studios and Disney+ also debuted the first teaser poster, which showcases Maslany as the iconic jade giantess.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are buzzing at the moment thanks to the first trailer for She-Hulk's new Disney+ series, but it also contained a surprise for wrestling fans. That's because at one point Tatiana Maslaney's Jennifer Walters is seen going on several dates, and one of her dates is none other than former WWE Superstar David Otunga. Otunga would confirm his role in the show on Twitter, and you'll be able to watch Otunga make his She-Hulk series debut when the show launches on Disney+ on August 17th.

In a wide-ranging new feature in Vanity Fair, Kathleen Kennedy has given the magazine insight into the future of the Star Wars franchise, including a loose sense of exactly when to expect Lucasfilm's numerous TV projects to hit Disney+. Beginning with Obi-Wan Kenobi, which drops in just ten days, the "galaxy far, far away" will have a new TV installment hitting roughly every three months for the next year. There are also a pair of series that are a little farther off, with few available details so far. But given that Disney+ tends to keep its release dates relatively close to the vest until the projects are pretty much ready to roll out, this gives us a pretty clear vision for the future.

Disney and Pixar have an impressive track record, most recently scoring major successes with films like Pixar's Turning Red and Disney's Encanto, with the studio offered the first glimpses at their upcoming film Elemental. In addition to teasing details about the film's plot, they also offering a brief synopsis of the experience, hinting at yet another experience that will surely be accessible to audiences of all ages, though will bring with it much bigger metaphorical and emotional experiences. While the film does have a release date, it's not yet known if the project will debut exclusively in theaters or if it will earn a hybrid release strategy on Disney+. Elemental is set to debut on June 16, 2023.

Netflix has canceled another one of its major shows, with this one getting the ax after only two seasons. Variety reports that hit sci-fi drama Raising Dion has been dropped by the streamer, following its recent season debut. The news seems to have been revealed by series star Sammi Haney, who shared the news with fans on Instagram. "Sad to say that Raising Dion is CANCELED [sic] Thank you for all of the amazing support we got from all of our wonderful fans!" Haney wrote, in part. "Season 2 was a success, equal to Season 1, even if just looking at how many people watched all of it and wanted a season 3!"
