Food Finds: Gina's brings Korean street food to Bossier with corn dogs and bubble waffles

Gina's Waffles and Dogs is a unique, fun place for all ages to enjoy Korean treats like corn dogs and bubble waffles. 

Nestled in a Bossier City shopping center, Gina's is located at 2307 E. Texas St. in Suite 600. 

The menu is straightforward, offering just waffles and dogs. However, Gina's doesn't need any frills to be exciting. 

Korean corn dogs have been a trendy food item for the last year gaining popularity on Instagram and TikTok. These hot dogs are traditionally coated in crispy panko bread crumbs and can include toppings like fried potatoes or sugar.

At Gina's you have options like a typical corn dog, one filled with mozzarella or cheddar cheese, or get half dog half cheese. She also keeps a variety of dipping sauces like spicy mayo, ketchup and mustard. 

Bubble waffles have been a traditional street food in Hong Kong since the 1950s with their fluffy spheres rolled into a cone and filled with ice cream and any topping you could want. At Gina's, you can get yours filled with fruit, Oreos, Nutella and topped with sprinkles and chocolate syrup.
