Jamie and Claire are back! Outlander Season 6 is coming this March, and today, Starz has released a new trailer to give us a glimpse of what's ahead. The inhabitants of Fraser's Ridge will soon learn that the Revolutionary War is underway.

“The tide has turned,” Claire says ominously at the beginning of the Outlander Season 6 trailer, which Starz released today, January 19. The two-minute video gives a preview of threats from both foreign (Redcoats) and domestic (book readers would know, and the rest will find out).
"I cannae be two things at once Claire: a rebel, a loyalist, an agent for the crown and an enemy of the king," a conflicted Jamie tells his time-traveler wife in the trailer, to which Claire responds, "You can't live your life afraid of being who you are."
The long-running series follows Claire and Jamie Fraser (Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan), lovers who are brought together through the fabric of time itself after Claire touches the magic stones in the highlands of Scotland during a honeymoon with her husband (played by Tobias Menzies). The series takes lace within various historic events, from World War 2 to the Jacobite Rebellion to times of Scottish settlement in the mountains of North Carolina.
Outlander Season 6 will adapt Diana Gabaldon's sixth book of her bestselling Outlander series, A Breath of Snow and Ashes. According to Starz, Outlander Season 6 “sees a continuation of Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect those they love, as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America. Establishing a home in the New World is by no means an easy task, particularly in the wild backcountry of North Carolina — and perhaps most significantly — during a period of dramatic political upheaval. The Frasers strive to maintain peace and flourish within a society which, as Claire knows all too well, is unwittingly marching towards Revolution. Against this backdrop, which heralds the birth of the new American nation, Claire and Jamie have built a home together at Fraser’s Ridge.”
