A mobile version is also in the works for both iOS and Android, with Konami’s website noting that it will release at a later date. While Master Duel is available for free, the title does feature in-game purchases.

Much like other Yu-Gi-Oh! titles, Master Duel will see players building up their own personalized decks, and playing against one another or AI opponents in order to advance in tournaments and earn even better and rarer cards. Unlike other Yu-Gi-Oh! titles, though, Master Duel aims to be the definitive way to play the trading card game, and features the official Master Rules, making it the truest way to play the game in a digital format.

Master Duel features its own single-player Solo Mode that will explain the lore of various cards, as well as online Duels, tournaments, and events that will let players showcase their skills against other players. Friends looking to play with one another can also do so, as Master Duel supports both cross-platform online play and cross-platform saves, allowing for players to carry over their data anywhere they go.

For those looking to get a jumpstart on things, PlayStation users can currently claim a 50 Pack Ticket for free for the game if they’re subscribed to PlayStation Plus.
