HASTINGS, Neb. (AP) — Ed Littler, a central Nebraska sportscaster for 25 years, has died after being hospitalized for COVID-19. He was 70.
KSNB-TV in Hastings, where Littler had worked for decades, announced that Littler died Tuesday.
Littler was the longtime sports anchor at KHAS-TV, which later became KSNB. He was well-known for his passion for covering high school and small college sports in central Nebraska and University of Nebraska-Lincoln football.
Littler was a Florida native and graduated from Florida State in 1976.
He got his first TV job as a sports reporter in Huntington, West Virginia.
He worked at three stations in Ohio before he arrived at KHAS-TV in 1992.
