Johnston has served his three-game suspension and will be eligible to return to the lineup Friday against Arizona, per CBS.
At this point it isn't clear if Johnston will slot into a bottom-six role Friday, but either way, he'll be an option against the Coyotes. The 27-year-old winger has tallied two assists through nine top-level appearances this year.
