'Ready for work!': Zoe Saldana reveals she has a 3:30am start time and is in makeup by 5:30am to play Guardians Of The Galaxy 3's character Gamora
Zoe Saldana appeared on Instagram on Tuesday as her Guardians Of The Galaxy character Gamora.
The 43-year-old actress was covered in green makeup to bring the Marvel personality to life. 'Gamora felt cute! #nofilter,' she wrote in her caption and added two crying laughing emojis.
The beauty also revealed that her start time to get into hair in makeup was 3:30 am and she was all made up by 5:30 am to film Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3.
Zoe's skin tone was mostly covered in the green makeup. She was clad in a dark grey robe inside a dressing room.
But if viewers looked closely it could be seen that the makeup stopped just below her neck and wrists.
Saldana kept her 7.5 million followers entertained with a closeup photo followed by a seconds-long video.
Her hair was capped with a red wig that was clipped back. The still photo racked up 260,687 likes and the recording was viewed more than 800,000 times.
The mom-of-three was silent in the video clip, but kept viewers' attention as she dramatically took a swig from a jug of a smoothie.
The New Jersey native twiddled her fingers horizontally across her robe while waiting for the contents of the capped container to stop whirring.
Then, the Crossroads star untwisted the bottle from its base, removed the lid and took a gulp.
'3:30am call time for work,' she wrote in the caption and added multiple green emojis.
While hard at work on her upcoming film, Zoe is also in the midst of a lifestyle refresh as she commits to a 21-day challenge.
The entertainer has been documenting workouts that focus on 'functional strength and movement.'
Along with outtakes from an extensive exercise routine the 5ft7in beauty said, 'Doing workouts that get my neuromuscular system to activate has helped my body to work even more efficiently.'
Zoe also included a photo of food as she takes on a new diet.
