Worker Pranks Customers With Fake Snake in Viral Video Seen 4M Times: 'I'm in Stitches'

A TikToker has a new video prank out that's been viewed 4.9 million times in two days. In the video, he pranked people while working at a convenience store with a fake snake on the counter as they come up to pay.

TikToker @majorkeylife has numerous prank videos that have gone viral before. The content creator has 7.1 million followers on TikTok with over 150 million likes in total. He's even pranked people with a fake snake before this occurrence.

In the most recent video uploaded two days ago, the social media star shared a new video of himself behind the counter in a convenience store with a fake black snake on the counter by the payment processor. A man walked up with some beverages as he spoke to the TikToker, putting some of the drinks down before noticing the fake snake. He then quickly dropped the drinks and stepped back, making the TikToker laugh as some of the drinks fell.

Next up is another man who placed beverages down by the snake, not noticing it. The TikToker appeared to move the snake around so the man would notice it as he placed an order, and when he did see the snake, he said, "Oh, s**t!" as he stepped back quickly, moving farther back still as the TikToker laughed.

The third man pranked put a beverage down as he spoke to the TikToker, but when he noticed the fake snake, he lurched back and yelled with his hands touching his head as he got all the way back toward the door, dropping his glasses. Again, the TikToker laughed.

Next up, a man waited nearby as another man came up with chips, noticing the snake and lurching his hand quickly as the TikToker laughed again, and the man smiled as well.

The last person pranked is a woman, who recognized the snake pretty quickly as being fake, although startled at first as she looked up at the clerk. She smiled, saying, "For real?" as she laughed and so did the TikToker. "What the freak?" she added before putting her stuff down to pay.

According to Statista, YouGov polled more than 4,000 adults in the country in 2019 about April Fools' Day. In total, 46 percent of respondents found the pranks amusing, while 41 percent found them annoying.

The viral video has been liked 259,000 times with over 1,400 comments so far. People seem to really appreciate the viral TikTok video.

"First dude looked like he was electrocuted," a TikToker added.

One viewer said they "love" the pranks, adding, "the interaction with them, memories = priceless."

Another TikToker brought up their own point. "Ohh...It made me laugh so hard," they said. "But please don't do it again, especially to older people. They might have [a] heart attack."

Other people had comments like, "I'm in stitches," and "funny video."

People had a special appreciation for the reactions of the people in the video. "Lmao I love every single last one of their reactions," someone wrote.

One viewer doesn't think the TikToker will have a job for long. "I think soon you will get fired," they said.

Although some people think the content is fake, a lot of people seemed to like it. "We need more of this," a TikTok user wrote.

Some commented on the man holding the chips in the video. "The grip he had on that pack of chips though," a user said.

While one TikToker made a comment about the people pranked. "You're probably the highlight of their day," they said.
