One of the biggest anime titles that arrived last year is Jujutsu Kaisen and much recently, a prequel film was released for the title, even bringing in more fans to the fanbase that has been dedicated to the series. Still, many are wondering whether there would be a Season 2 for it and finally, the MBS President, Yōichi Mushiaki finally spills some tea on its possibility.
On Wednesday, an online press conference was held with the attendance of the MBS President, Yōichi Mushiaki, and when he was asked regarding the possibility of a second season for Jujutsu Kaisen, he commented, "At this time I'd like you all to wait for us to state a concrete plan. However, I think we can provide a development that will meet expectations."
Seemingly teasing that Jujutsu Kaisen will be having a second season, it seems that there is no definite plan yet for what will be happening but they are aware that many fans are expecting and with his statement, it seems that development would come sooner rather than later which means that Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen remains at the table. This is the most that fans have heard since the first season of the show.

After Jujutsu Kaisen 0 places as the second highest-grossing film in Japan last year, the film, too, is still in the balance if it would be released globally and while it has yet to be released internationally, a lot of people are already waiting for it especially for the fans living outside of Japan.
