Opera has launched a dedicated surfing tool in its Crypto Browser Project that has been built with Web3 in mind from the ground up. Besides an integrated Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other blockchains wallet, the browser features a Crypto Corner for news and quick exchange access, as well as a plethora of privacy and security features.

One of the most prolific and inventive browser brands - Opera - has now come up with a dedicated crypto edition of its popular Internet surfing tool for Windows, Mac, and Android, while an iOS version is in the works. As alternative browsers go, Opera's effort banks on a set of features aiming to make your life on the bleeding edge of the digital asset trade easier. The Web3 Crypto Browser supports decentralized apps (dApps) and has a fully functional crypto wallet in addition to cryptocurrency and NFT exchange shortcuts. The wallet is non-custodial and supports the Ethereum, Bitcoin, Celo and Nervo blockchain networks from the get-go, with more partnerships lined up from the likes of Solana or Polygon.

It also lets you sign in directly to access your crypto or use dApps without the need for any third-party extensions. If you don't want to use Opera's non-custodial wallet, there is a wallet selector tool so you can integrate your own favorite keeper, be it Metamask, Coinbase or Binance. That's not all, though:

The Opera Crypto Browser Project is about more than just surfing traditional websites through a one-size-fits-all solution. It’s specifically designed to work with a variety of decentralized apps, or dApps, as well as provide deeper functionality than a traditional browser that has a basic web wallet add-on. This is possible thanks to a wide array of built-in, web3 focused features, as well as the inherent speed that Chromium already offers the suite of Opera browsers. For starters, the Crypto Corner gives you access to the latest blockchain news, upcoming airdrops, an industry events calendar, NFTs, crypto communities, educational content, podcasts and videos as well as crypto prices, gas fees and market sentiment – all in one spot.

In addition, Opera brings its privacy and security features like the no-log browser VPN, the built-in ad-blocker and tracker blocker, as well as the secure copy/paste clipboard, to the Crypto Browser Project. There is a Twitter, Telegram, and Whatsapp integration for secure messaging, as well as a tutorial explaining all the features.
