Emmerdale's Manpreet Sharma considers exit after Meena ordeal

Manpreet Sharma is set to weigh up an exit from the village following her ordeal with evil sister Meena Jutla on Emmerdale.

Manpreet recently spent weeks captive under her serial killer sister, the latter of whom confessed her crimes to her. However, she was able to escape with the help of Vinny Dingle and Leanna Cavanagh's dad Liam.

In new scenes set to air next week, Manpreet will continue her recovery after the traumatic experience, as well as being run over by Charles.

While the two remain united, she expressed a desire to move away – though it remains to be seen whether he will be able to convince her to stick around in the village.

Manpreet also continues to struggle physically and mentally, despite putting a brave face on things.

Will she decide to stay as part of her next steps to recovery?

Elsewhere next week, Vinny suggests to Manpreet that she lie to the police to build a stronger case against Meena and help free Liv Flaherty, after the latter was framed for Meena's murder of Ben Tucker.

It comes after Vinny learns from DS Rogers that he has struggled to obtain concrete evidence from Manpreet about her sister, despite Manpreet being the only one who heard the serial killer's confession first hand, meaning Liv will remain in prison for the time being.

However, whether Manpreet agrees to Vinny's plan is unknown at the moment.

Meanwhile, Meena is set to reappear at Billy Fletcher and Dawn Taylor's wedding, meaning danger is on the horizon.
