Man injured in Morgan County shooting flown to hospital

Morgan County authorities say a domestic altercation erupted in a shooting Tuesday night near Falkville.

According to the sheriff’s office, the shooting happened in the 950 block of Pleasant Country Road in the Ebenezer community.

The shooting victim apparently left the scene and was found at a residence in the 1200 block of East Lacon Road.

The person, whose name was not released, was suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital.
