All the 'Saturday Night Live' Hosts and Musical Guests in 2022

Saturday Night Live is halfway through Season 47 but there's even more special hosts and musical guests lined up for 2022.

The current season of SNL has already produced plenty of talking points with Kim Kardashian hosting, a new cast member taking on the presidency, and a heavily interrupted Christmas episode which curtailed Paul Rudd's fifth time hosting.

While there may have been an interruption to proceedings in the last episode of 2021, 2022 has already been more favorable to Lorne Michaels and co. as Ariana DuBose hosted a successful first show of the year. Having said that, the musical guest Roddy Ricch had to drop out days before the show because of a COVID-19 outbreak but Bleechers stepped in.

Looking ahead to the next episodes of Saturday Night Live, here are all of the hosts and musical guests confirmed to appear on Saturday Night Live in 2022.

Episode 11, January 22 - Will Forte and Måneskin

After Jason Sudeikis, Forte is the latest former cast member returning to host SNL. Now 51-years-old, Forte was on Saturday Night Live from 2002 to 2010 and known for his characters Tim Calhoun, Greg Stink and the McGyver parody MacGruber. MacGruber was eventually turned into a movie in 2010, and has recently been brought back as a new series on Peacock. He also has a role in the Foo Fighters' upcoming horror movie Studio 666, coming to theaters on February 25.

Joining Forte is the Italian rock band Måneskin. Runners up on an Italian talent show, the band went on to win the Eurovision Song Contest for Italy in 2021. Last year they released the song "I Wanna Be Your Slave" with Iggy Pop.

Episode 12, January 29 - Willem Dafoe and Katy Perry

He's been a prominent figure in the entertainment industry for decades but Willem Dafoe will actually be making his SNL debut on January 29. The 66-year-old, who has been nominated for four Academy Awards, recently made his comeback as the Green Goblin in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Later in 2022, he's set to star in the historical epic The Northman as Heimir the Fool.

Katy Perry will return to Studio 8H for her fourth time on Saturday Night Live. It will be Perry's third appearance as musical guest, and she also hosted once back in 2011. She recently debuted the music video for her new song "When I'm Gone" which is a collaboration with the Swedish DJ Alesso.
