‘Singin’ in the Rain’ opens this weekend at Rio Grande Theatre

Blank Conversations Theatre Company’s production of “Singin’ in the Rain” opens at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at Rio Grande Theatre, 211 N. Main St. Downtown.

Additional performances will be at 7 p.m. Saturdays, Jan. 22, 28 and 29, and at 1 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 23 and 30.

Tickets are $20 regular admission and $10 for students with ID. Tickets are available at the door and online at www.riograndetheatre.org.

The show is directed by Christopher Lininger. The cast includes Timothy Wilbur, Alyssa Gose, Collin Duffey, Reagan Szulc, Mario Nuñez, Myles Ingram, Reagan Warren, Penny Pane, Chad Gonzalez, Skyler VA, Stephen Miller, Carter Chamberlin, Evan Ince, Kareli Melendrez, Lily Ybarra, Thahec Arreola, Steven Cousler, Madeline Medina, Kimberly Burgos, Andrea Florez, Luz Resendez, Hannah Valdez, Anjuli Kvamme, Brandon Hoffman, Ali Shirsat, Karina Diven, Elia Vasquez and Caden Mitchell.

The story was written by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, lyrics by Arthur Freed and music by Nacio Herb Brown, who was born in Deming, New Mexico.
