Halo Infinite multiplayer hit the right notes many times but the wrong one everyone talks about is getting toned down.

Spartan customisation is something many Halo fans looked forward to but when they saw the abhorrent state of monetisation in Halo Infinite multiplayer, they quickly let their opinions be known and 343 Industries have been introducing fixes at a slow but steady pace ever since.

Another set has arrived with the latest update, with one of the biggest changes being the lowered price of pretty much everything the store has to offer. Instead of bundles costing over $17, they can now be attained for ~$10. Such changes were previously promised by 343 and this is them partially delivering.

Keep in mind that most of the changes that were promised in the initial tweet have already made it into the game but more updates are on the way and their severity will hinge on the feedback players provide in the near future.

Additional changes include purchasing items from a bundle separately and there was some talk of earning credits through gameplay. That would allow the effective prices to be even lower and might actually reduce the effects of the biggest stain Halo Infinite multiplayer is currently stuck with.

If you are someone who is on the fence about trying Halo Infinite multiplayer, a useful piece of information here would be that none of the microtransaction items offers any sort of advantage to either you or your opponents. It's a level playing field and as it stands, the microtransactions are currently just gimping the customisation.
