EA DICE have confirmed that they will be introducing scoreboards in Update 3.3, which is scheduled to arrive in mid to late February 2022.

Scoreboards are coming to Battlefield 2042 in the February 2022 update, DICE just confirmed via Twitter. This highly-requested feature will be introduced in Update 3.3, which is currently scheduled to arrive in mid to late February 2022, barring any hiccups.

"Update 3.3 Our next update after 3.2 arrives in mid to late February, and features a refreshed Scoreboard, alongside further changes that have been in the works since we returned after the Holidays," DICE wrote in the Twitter thread.

Scoreboard update will refresh the existing scoreboard UI with a brand new panel that shows how players are stacking up across the server. You can check out the redesigned scoreboard in the image above.

DICE say that the new design is still a work in progress so expect some additional improvements even after launch. "Scoreboard will receive further updates beyond this refresh - this isn’t a one and done deal for us," they've said.

Additionally, Battlefield 2042 will receive further performance optimisations while a small update with a handful of bug fixes is scheduled to go live tomorrow.

Players have been waiting to hear more about these updates and EA DICE's plans for the future of Battlefield 2042 for a couple of weeks. It's safe to say that Battlefield 2042 has not launched as well as both players and EA have hoped it would which is why it's so important that these updates start rolling out sooner rather than later.
