The 2022 Kia Seltos has the advantage for performance. It offers two engine options: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (146 hp) and a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine (175 hp). In comparison, all 2022 Honda HR-V models are powered by a 141-hp 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. Both the HR-V and Seltos offer a choice of a front-wheel drive system or an all-wheel drive system. Neither subcompact crossover SUV is rated for towing.
