Today in Royals: They're Just Like Us Kate Middleton swapped her diamonds out for a pair of earrings worth literally £2.10 (which ends up being $2.86). The Daily Mail ID'd the earrings as being from London jewelry brand Accessorize, where they are—inevitably/sadly—sold out at the moment. But here's a pic of Kate wearing them to her event today to make you jealous:

And here's a similar pair for $13 if you're in the mood to treat yourself (Psst: Kate paired her earrings with £130 pants from Jigsaw, and a recycled teal coat from the same brand).

Anyway, a little more on Kate's event this morning: she was joined by her husband Prince William at the Foundling Museum, where they discussed "issues affecting young people in care and later in life."

According to the Daily Mail, the discussion revolved around the "wider landscape of care in the UK, the challenges that young people leaving care can face, including employment, housing, mental health and addiction, and the work that is being carried out to tackle these issues."

Duchess Kate and Prince William will likely have a pretty full slate of events in 2022 (especially if the pandemic decides not to ruin everything per usual), and are apparently considering moving to Windsor to both be closer to the Queen, and their busy life in London (where Prince George and Prince Charlotte currently attend school).
