French bag specialist côte&ciel has returned with a first look at its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, taking inspiration from the creativity that is borne of turbulent and disrupted times. This influence is referenced through its functional-first collection of bag styles, many of which incorporate unexpected design features.

A stand-out silhouette is the all-new AÓOS, which uses a Memorytech fabric to conceal curls and wraps, as well as hidden zips that can change its size and shape. Other key styles include the ADRIA backpack — designed to appear as an unfurling flower bud — as well as a range of small styles dubbed the NANO and small and extra small versions of the AÓOS.

Another key theme throughout is visibility, with reflective 3M detailing appearing on the ISAR AIR and ISARAU styles, while the ADDA and MINI DUFFLE silhouettes are updated with neon straps and coral pink zips.

Take a look through côte&ciel’s FW22 collection in the gallery above, and expect it to begin releasing at select stockists in September 2022.

In other fashion news, A-COLD-WALL* also recently debuted its FW22 collection.
