Nintendo UK has confirmed that Rare’s 1998 platformer Banjo-Kazooie will be arriving on Nintendo Switch on January 21.

The iconic bear-and-bird duo were confirmed to be on their way last month. They’ll be coming as the latest addition to the N64 games available through the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack. You’ll traverse nine colourful worlds as the pair, on the hunt to rescue your sister Tooty from the evil witch Gruntilda.

Banjo-Kazooie‘s arrival comes just a month following the addition of Paper Mario. The Expansion Pack service for Nintendo Switch Online arrived back in late October. It adds a higher tier in exchange for a bunch of classic N64 and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis games. Some of these include Mario Kart 64, Mario Tennis and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 to name but a few.

As for which games will be next, Nintendo haven’t let the cat out of the bag at the time of writing. We do know a bunch more are still to come, including The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and Mario Golf. Pokémon Snap is also confirmed as a future title, so could that arrive next month to follow Pokémon Legends: Arceus? We’ll let you know when we find out.

For now, check out the trailer for yourself down below. Banjo-Kazooie lands on Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack on January 21.
