Every superhero fan has been talking about the new Marvel movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home” that came out on Dec. 17.  Even non-superhero fans have been talking about it. It has become a worldwide success making $668.7 million in the box office as of Jan. 10, and even surpassing “Titanic” in the domestic box office, with “Titanic” making $659.3 million.

“Tom Holland’s acting… amazing,” says Alexis Cable, a UD student and just one of the many fans of the new movie.

Personally, I am a huge fan of the web-slinger. Over winter break, my family and I went to go see the newest movie and all I can say is that it was amazing. The actors, sets, script and everyone who worked on the movie did a fantastic job. The movie has made it onto my favorite movies list and it has become something that my family loves as well.

This movie is enjoyable for everyone. If you are a superhero fan it was made for you. It has many easter eggs and it is filled to the brim with nostalgia and has had Marvel fans, young and old, excited. Even if you do not watch superhero movies, it is a must-see. It has romance, comedy, action and big stars.

UD student, Anna Fahrmeier, said, “Going into the movie you definitely had to have at least some knowledge of the other Spider-Man movies.”

Fahrmeier had only watched the first Tobey Spider-Man along with the other Tom Holland Spider-Man movies, but even without seeing every single film she was able to understand the plot.

The movie features many stars such as Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina. Also, there are some surprise appearances by the other web-slingers, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.

Rumors were going around about the other Spider-Man actors making an appearance in the movie, but it in no way prepared the audience for the reveal. Theaters around the world erupted in cheers when Maguire and Garfield appeared on the big screen once again as Spider-Man.

After seeing Andrew Garfield in the movie, Fahrmeier said, “I never watched his Spider-Man movies, but from just this one bit I fell in love with his Spider-Man and want to watch the other two movies of his.”

With a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 93% “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is proving to be a success. The Marvel Franchise has done it again, setting the bar even higher with this movie. Fans now must sit and wait to see what Marvel creates next.
