It was not a good day at the office for the Swindon Town goalkeeper who conceded three times against Comoros.

Joseph Wollacott - 4/10

Yiadom has had a not-so-good tournament for Ghana, having been particularly criticised for his lack of offensive action. He did not improve much against Comoros.

Andy Yiadom - 4/10

The Reading left-back was caught high up the pitch as Comoros broke down the right en route to scoring their first goal, and he never quite recovered from the lapse. Was withdrawn at half-time.

Abdul Rahman Baba - 4/10

Amartey needlessly committed to a tackle which left Ghana’s defence exposed following his failed attempt; Comoros capitalised on his poor judgment and scored their first goal, their first time of breaching what was a horrendous Black Stars defence on the day.

Daniel Amartey - 3.5/10

Djiku was equally at fault for Ghana’s first goal due to poor positioning but his second half goal did make up for his underwhelming performance in defence on the day.

Alexander Djiku - 4.5/10

Like has been the case in Ghana’s first two games, Partey failed to take control of the midfield, against expectations. Not even a switch to a more defensive role against Comoros improved his performance.

Thomas Partey - 3.5/10

The St. Pauli attacker produced some decent touches in Ghana’s midfield, adding to a good output behind the Black Stars’ set-pieces.

Daniel-Kofi Kyereh - 5/10

On his first Afcon start, Issahaku tried to exert himself into the game but found it difficult to control in central areas, adding to a lack of bite with his final balls.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku - 3.5/10

Kamaldeen tested the goalkeeper with some decent shots in the first half but struggled to cut Comoros open with his trademark runs which have made him a joy to watch at club level.

Kamaldeen Sulemana - 4/10

From being Ghana’s hero against Gabon, Ayew quickly turned villain against Comoros as he was sent off in the first half for fouling the goalkeeper in his attempt to slot in a rebound.

Andre Ayew - 3/10

Jordan failed to cause much danger for Comoros’ defence, continuing his poor run of form in attack for the Black Stars.

Jordan Ayew - 3.5/10

Came on at the start of the second half as Rajevac sought to shore things up in the middle but his presence failed to produce any significant team improvement.

Edmund Addo - 4/10

Came on for Issahaku on the hour mark and provided some attacking threat down the left wing as Ghana moved to a three-back system. His defensive duties, though, left little to be desired.

Joseph Paintsil - 4/10

The Israel-based striker registered Ghana’s first consolation to provide some momentary hope for a possible comeback.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom - 7/10

Came on for the final nine minutes and would largely be remembered for running himself to the ground inside the box in a futile search for a penalty.
