Peretti leads Hammonton past Egg Harbor - Girls basketball recap

Emma Peretti had a 25-point, 21-rebound double-double to lead Hammonton past Egg Harbor 57-42 in Egg Harbor.

Peretti, who leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 23.5 points per game and 18.7 rebounds per game, posted her second straight double-double after having 38 points and 23 rebounds in Hammonton’s last game against Our Lady of Mercy.

Ava Divello also had 19 points and six assists, Giada Palmieri had 11 points, seven rebounds and six assists and Shamaya Simola added 10 rebounds.

Hammonton (4-2) held a solid 40-27 lead after the third and closed the game out with a 17-15 fourth quarter to extend its win streak to four games.

Egg Harbor, which falls to 4-5, was led by Lyla Brown who had 17 points and Amelia Zinckgraf added 10.
