DAVIESS COUNTY —A Missouri woman died in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Tuesday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Chevy Tahoe driven by Briaunna R. Goodwin, 26, Cameron, was northbound on U.S. 59 three miles south of Winston.
The driver lost control on the icy road. The SUV traveled into the southbound lanes. A southbound 2013 Ford F150 driven by Linda S. Wilcox, 63, Trenton, struck the SUV.
Wilcox was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin. EMS transported Goodwin to Liberty Hospital. The drivers were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
