Will we witness the re-emergence of Whoopi Goldberg's USS Enterprise-D bartender Guinan in Picard? Just over a year ago, the actress herself caused Trekkie mouths to salivate with her teasery words.
"I haven't seen Star Trek: Discovery but I did watch the first season of Picard, which was great," she recalled. "From time to time, I talk to Patrick about Star Trek.
"Hopefully, I will be joining their cast for a little while next year. I'm very excited about that."
Star Trek: Discovery season 4 resumes on February 10 on Paramount+ in the US. In the UK, you can watch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at 9pm on Pluto TV. Star Trek: Picard airs on Paramount+ in the US. Season 1 is available on Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
