Nintendo Switch is still getting more support from third-party partners, with the latest deal adding a range of major games to the handheld console.

And after it launched in 2019, Kingdom Hearts 3 has become a very accessible game, with Nintendo Switch the last major console release.

The news was initially shared in October 2021, with Square Enix revealing that they would be launching a total of ten games on the platform.

One downside to this entire project was that it would arrive without a cartridge, with Square going the Cloud route.

A post from Square explains: “10 KINGDOM HEARTS experiences are coming to Nintendo Switch as three standalone cloud releases: KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX CLOUD VERSION, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue CLOUD VERSION, and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind ( DLC) CLOUD VERSION.

“In addition, you can buy all the games together in an ‘all-in-one’ cloud version collection: KINGDOM HEARTS INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE for Cloud.

“The final story chapter of the mobile title KINGDOM HEARTS DARK ROAD will be released this winter.

“In addition, the entire KINGDOM HEARTS Union [Cross] story is available for players to relive or experience for the first time ever – all through a very convenient theater mode.

“To date, more than 10 million players around the world have downloaded the KINGDOM HEARTS Uχ Dark Road app, so many of you are waiting for the conclusion of this prequel story. Rest assured – it’s coming and it’s going to be great.”

And now we know exactly when the new collection of Kingdom Hearts games will hit Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo and Square Enix will launch the Kingdom Hearts franchise on Nintendo Switch on February 10.

There are three collections and different prices available for those who want to buy the games, with the full list costing $89.99.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5, 2.8, III + Re Mind (DLC) and the all-in-one Integrum Masterpiece will all launch on Nintendo Switch via the cloud on February 10, with several demos available as well.

Starting today, you can try out 1.5+2.5, 2.8 and III demos for free, all of which can be found on Nintendo eShop.

These demos are worth watching as they are all run on cloud technology and you can test your internet game streaming capability before spending any money.
