If it’s coffee you’re craving Lord knows there’s always a Starbucks somewhere nearby. That joke about a Starbucks on every corner? It’s funny because they really do seem to be everywhere.

Case in point, even though there is already one 2-and-a-half miles away on Sunland Park Drive and another less than 2 miles in the opposite direction on N. Mesa and Kerbey, a future Starbucks location is nearing completion at 533 Executive Center and I-10, which is the last parcel of land you pass before turning right to get onto I-10 West.

And while putting Starbucks down and thumbing their nose at it is a national past time, it wouldn't be the world's largest coffeehouse chain if people didn't like sipping on their product. It being everywhere doesn't hurt either.

New Eastside and Horizon City Locations

Executive Center isn’t the only area in town where a new Starbucks is moving in. The ubiquitous coffee purveyor will be providing El Paso residents in other parts of town opportunities to empty their wallet on a Venti mocha, Frappuccino, macchiato, latte, or steaming hot cup of coffee.

A location in the up-and-coming Eastlake Marketplace near the new Amazon Fulfillment Center in Horizon City is currently nearing completion and should be up and brewing sooner than later.

I also found plans for a Starbucks at 12700 Montana Avenue by the Cinemark East, and another at 2240 Yarbrough around where the Great American Steakburger is. They’re in various stages of planning and construction so there is no word yet on when exactly those locations will open but by all accounts it will be this year.
