Prior to Allen Ludden losing his battle with cancer in 1981 at the age of 63, the late game show host amended his will, with him leaving everything he had to White and his kids from a previous marriage. Following some turn of events, White took it upon herself to make sure her late husband's children were taken care of.

According to the outlet, White returned to court in 2008 to ask for the terms of the will to be modified after her co-trustee of the estate died. Looking out for the kids' best interests, the Hot In Cleveland star made it clear she talked to all of Ludden’s children, and they came up with two people who would take over in case White passed away.
