Like mother, like daughter! Jessica Rowe delivers a touching tribute to her lookalike teen Allegra as she celebrates her 15th birthday
Jessica Rowe and her husband Peter Overton are proud parents of two teenage daughters.
And on Tuesday, podcast Jessica paid a touching tribute to their eldest Allegra as she celebrated her 15th birthday.
Posting to her Instagram, the 51-year-old shared two pictures alongside her little girl who is now the same height as her famous mum.
'Happy birthday to my wish upon a star. Fifteen years ago today you sparkled into our world & life has never been the same,' Jessica began in her heartfelt caption.
'You are brave, fearless, funny & kind. And I’m so lucky to be your Mumma. #happybirthday #15 #wishuponastar #tallerthanme,' she added.
In addition, Jess shared a hilarious snap of the birthday girl and her sister Giselle as they picked up some helium balloons ahead of celebrations.
It's been a big month of events for the family as last week Jess and her A Current Affair reporter husband Pete marked their 18th wedding anniversary.
In a post on Instagram, Jess revealed they'd spent the day preparing to move house, sharing a photo of them packing up their kitchen.
'Eighteen years ago today I made the best decision of my life - marrying this darling man!' she captioned the post.
'And today we "celebrated" by scrubbing the fridge for our move! (Actually Petee did the scrubbing while I carried on like a pork chop!)'
Nine newsreader Peter has been married to former TV host and author Jessica since 2004.
The two first met when she undertook work experience at Channel Nine at age 19, and rekindled their romance after meeting at the Logies years later.
Along with Allegra, the loved-up couple share daughter Giselle, 12.
Jessica is best known for her co-hosting role on Studio 10, which she stepped down from in March 2018 to spend more time with her family.
Taking to Twitter at the time, a supportive Peter applauded his wife's 'courageous' decision to leave the program.
'To make a decision to leave a job you love takes courage,' he said.
'Jess and I have had some long talks about this and the bottom line is our little girls need their mum.'
