Woodmont Lands San Mateo Shopping Center and Marin County Offices to its Property Management Accounts

Woodmont Real Estate Services’ Scott Pritchett, CPM® and President of Commercial Operations, is pleased to announce a new retail real estate management account in the heart of the San Francisco Peninsula, Woodlake Shopping Center.

The 50,000-square-foot shopping center is anchored by Safeway and CVS Pharmacy and located at the intersection of Peninsula Avenue and Delaware Street in San Mateo, minutes from Highway 101 as well as downtown Burlingame. Shop-space tenants include Starbucks Coffee, SUBWAY, Round Table, a martial arts studio, nail salon, dry cleaners and other neighborhood-serving retail stores.

Parliament Properties is the primary owner of Woodlake Shopping Center.

Woodlake Shopping Center reaches over 235,000 people within a five-mile radius with an average household income of $197,671, according to 2010 U.S. Census data with estimates for 2021.

The retail plaza currently has three availabilities: 4,491 square feet that is immediately adjacent to Safeway, 3,009 square feet that is adjacent to CVS Pharmacy, and 1,178 square feet that is next to SUBWAY in the shops section of the center.

Also late in the 4th quarter of 2021, Woodmont added two suburban office buildings to its management portfolio that are located in Marin County’s northern-most City of Novato. Located at 7655 and 7665 Redwood Blvd., the two offices buildings total approximately 40,000 square feet and are owned by Bay West Development. The properties are near the Fireman’s Fund Campus, which is also owned by Bay West.

The new accounts builds on the momentum Woodmont developed in 2021 for new real estate properties under management, particularly retail space. Last year the Belmont-based commercial real estate services firm add seven new assets in 10 new buildings to its management portfolio. The new accounts cover more than 750,000 square feet and are occupied by approximately 50 tenants. Of the 6 million square feet of commercial property managed by the company, over 2 million square feet is now retail real estate.
