Woman who caught her boyfriend 'texting a girl from another state' tricks him into taking a road trip to confront the other woman - by lying that they needed to 'go out of town for a family emergency'

• The TikToker claimed that she then tricked her partner into driving to meet the woman by saying she had a family emergency 
• A follow-up video shows a group of women arguing with Dash and her boyfriend, though it's unclear what happened 

A woman has gone viral after claiming she tricked her unsuspecting boyfriend into going on a road trip with her to confront the other woman he had been texting behind her back. 

Lucy Dash, a hairstylist from Brooklyn, New York, took to TikTok last week to share a video of herself driving her partner — who was fast asleep — across state lines after telling him that she had a family emergency.  

'Last night I went [through] his phone & caught him texting some girl from another state,' she wrote. 'They [have] been talking for a while now & he agreed to go on a date with her today.'

Dash explained that she texted the woman from her boyfriend's phone and asked for the meet-up location before deleting the conversation.   

'Today I told him I needed to run out of town for a family emergency... He doesn't know we [are] on our way to meet the girl together,' she added. 

The video has been viewed more than 11.6 million times and received nearly 30,000 comments from viewers who were desperate to find out what happened next. 

Fans applauded her for the bold move, with one person writing: 'I got whatever on your bail. Tear him up, sis!!'

'Y’all be havin SELF CONTROL,' someone else added, while another joked: 'That boy don’t know he finna wake up to a nightmare.'

However, others didn't see the point of the confrontation and insisted that she should just dump him.

'So basically you giving him a ride????!!!!' one TikToker asked.  

'Are you gonna leave because if not this extra,' someone else asked. 

"Girl that's too much....let him go,' another shared. 

A follow-up video shows a group of women arguing with Dash and her boyfriend, though it's unclear what happened. 

'I cannot make this up yall!!' Dash captioned the clip. 'He snatched my phone by the way.'

TikTokers who have been following her story have been begging for her to explain what happened with her boyfriend and the other woman. 

A few days later, she posted a screenshot stating she was suspended from TikTok Live until January 19, though she promised she will eventually share the story. 

'We have been bamboozled, she got the views, & followers!' one commenter griped, while another added: 'I’ve been coming back to this page for the last 3 days and still no update'

'I am so invested lmaooo I need to know what happen next,' someone else admitted.
