COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in New Hampshire have dropped since before the holiday weekend, health officials said Tuesday.In the first release of COVID-19 since Friday, state health officials said active cases fell to 20,045, the fourth-highest total of the pandemic. Current hospitalizations dropped to 409, health officials said. According to the New Hampshire Hospital Association, 22.5% of hospital patients with COVID-19 are fully up to date on their vaccinations, while 43.5% are unvaccinated. Another 20% are not up to date on vaccinations, while the vaccination status of 13.9% is unknown.New Hampshire recorded the highest single-day total of new cases on Saturday, when 5,511 new cases were reported.Health officials reported six new deaths attributed to COVID-19.
