Viral Video Shows Taco Bell Worker Posing as Corporate After Customer Complains at 4 A.M.

A Taco Bell employee recently took a customer complaint into his own hands, then shared it for all the world to see.

The employee, a TikTok user with the name @tacohoeleess, posted January 17 about a female customer who reportedly visited his location in the middle of the night and was upset because she was never provided service.

She allegedly arrived at the location just a few minutes after the restaurant officially closed.

"We close at 4:00 am, and it was 4:03 she was so mad and it was snowing," the employee captioned his video. The clip has been viewed over 355,000 times.

The female customer reportedly became so upset with the employee that she asked for the phone number to directly call Taco Bell's corporate office. The employee gave her a phone number, though as he points out in the video, it was his own number.

Sure enough, he received a call and was stationed near a computer while he recorded the entire conversation with the repeat customer.

"I know their turnover rates are high because I go in there every single night," the female customer said. "It's just the fact they didn't even take my order at all. All they had was drinks."

The woman, who before ending her call said she was traveling to another Taco Bell location and wanted to be compensated for her trouble, said that particular location "lost out on business."

"We probably would've bought like $20 worth of Taco Bell for two people, maybe even $30," she said.

All the while, the restaurant employee who recorded and filmed the call pretends to be typing up a customer complaint while he can be seen just banging on the keyboard.

The poster confirmed in the comments that when the customer asked for corporate's phone number, he instead gave her his own number.

The video opened up the customer to plenty of blowback in the comments section, where the majority of TikTokers said she should not be compensated for anything because she showed up after the location was already closed.

"[B]aby the billion dollar company isn't crying and throwing up cos they missed out on ur 20," said a commenter in reference to the customer mentioning that Taco Bell lost out on her business.

"The fact that y'all close at 4 AM and she still couldn't make it on time," another person said.

Others questioned why she eats at Taco Bell every night, at the same location no less.

"She eats there every night?" one woman commented. "Has she never heard of super markets and pots and pans?"

"[W]hat? she doesn't have a bowl of cereal at home?" another user said. "[I]t's 4 in the morning!! Walmart is open 24/7 take your $20 and go buy what you need to make it."

A lot of users also found the employee's fervent typing quite entertaining. One user joked that the more he banged on the keys, the faster the customer began speaking.

One TikToker also pointed out that if the customer shows up at the same time and location daily, she should know that they close at 4 a.m.
