Fort Worth: Man pistol-whips store employee during robbery

A search is underway in Fort Worth after an unidentified man robbed a Family Dollar store on Sunday, injuring an employee in the process.

According to police, the incident took place at 4:30 p.m. at 1801 W. Berry Street. They say the armed suspect demanded money from a store employee. The suspect pistol-whipped an employee, threatened customers, and stole money from a register, and a customer's purse.

He then fled the scene on foot before getting into an unidentified White SUV.
