Alabama quarterback Bryce Young has won the 2021 Manning Award, adding to his accomplishments from this season. Young joins Mac Jones, the 2020 winner, as the only Alabama quarterbacks to win the award.

The Manning Award was founded in 2004 by the Sugar Bowl Committee. The award is given to the top quarterback in college football. Past winners include Joe Burrow, Kyler Murray and Vince Young.

Young had one of the greatest individual seasons in Alabama football history in 2021. He passed for 4,872 yards and 47 touchdowns, both single-season program records. He was named a consensus all-American and took home awards including the Maxwell Award, the O'Brien Award, and the Heisman Trophy. He is the first Alabama quarterback to win the Heisman.
