VIDEO: Knife-wielding man slashes man's face during fight on Harlem street

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released surveillance footage on Tuesday of a knife-wielding man who is wanted in connection to an assault that occurred last month in Harlem.

Just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, a 21-year old man got into a verbal dispute with the suspect in front of 2026 Lexington Avenue, according to officials.

The argument then escalated into a physical confrontation and a third unknown man approached the two men, produced a knife, and slashed the 21-year old victim in the face causing a laceration and bleeding, police said.

The two unknown males fled the location on foot in an unknown direction.

EMS transported the victim to Harlem Hospital in stable condition where he was treated for his injuries.

The man with the knife is described as being approximately in his 20-30 years in age, last seen wearing all dark clothing.
